- To manage, monitor to ensure production department runs accordingly to schedule, time and output to maximum capacity with good quality.
Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set target. - Conduct forecast to identify potential risks and contingencies in a proposed project. Develops manufacturing plans and maintains production schedules, assurance and quality control, safety and cost standards towards achieving department's objectives.
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations.
- Develop metrics to drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.
Address manufacturing challenges by troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage resources and provide status information and feedback to internal customers and managers.
Prepare periodic reports to update management on production objectives.
Determine quality control standards. Planning and organizing product schedules.
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in automotive industry is required for this position. Preferably from MNC.
Teamwork and able to handle work in a fast pace environment.
Solid background in mechanical assembly. Attention to detail, with the adaptability to handle multiple competing priorities on short deadlines.
Knowledge in process control and adequate supervisory skills.
Experience in managing a group of production staff.
Good knowledge of components, costs, CBOM structure, RFQ processes, etc
Good communications skills.
