JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be accountable for supporting, improving and developing the accounts receivable function for the GBS Malaysia hub.
- Overlook the accounts receivable team completes a wide range of tasks in order to ensure the accuracy of customer accounts, including refunds, write-offs, adjustments, billings, unbilled accounts, etc.
- Be a key point of contact for the team.
- Lead a team of Accounts Receivable Senior Executives/Executives.
- Lead transformation projects for Accounts Receivable function.
- Lead automation projects for Accounts Receivable function.
- Write up and maintain SOP for Accounts Receivable function.
- Ensure KPIs and SLAs for Accounts Receivable functions are adhere to
- Continuously up-skill and empower the Accounts Receivable team;
- Identify and implement areas for process improvements;
- Provide training and assistance in the Accounts Receivable process where required;
- Other duties as required by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Diploma graduate.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance and accounting processes.
- At least 4 years of experience of leading a shared services/GBS/BPO transformation projects.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the project management and transformation functions or in a similar environment.
- Change leader with the capacity and desire to lead in an ever-changing environment.
- Proven track record with continuous improvement process.
- Excellent relational skills building relationships resulting in strong relationships with internal customers/stakeholders who view them as a trusted partner.
- Experience with finance transition projects from sending to receiving team.
- Experience working with virtual and/or matrix teams.
- Experience working with cross-cultural team ideal.
- JDE ERP general accounting or related experience preferred.
