Job Description
Manage cost accounting processes, with familiarity in absorption costing considered an advantage.
Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate reporting.
Handle taxation matters including deferred tax, withholding tax, corporate tax, and SST, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Perform hands-on tasks such as data entry into accounting systems and preparation of financial reports.
Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and statutory authorities for documentation and compliance.
Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of reports.
Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets.
Prepare and submit GST and corporate tax documentation, and maintain regular updates from relevant authorities.
Collaborate with regional offices and corporate secretaries, and support ad-hoc reporting needs.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Banking, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
Strong personal integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
Resilient under pressure, able to handle ambiguity and solve complex issues.
Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines in a high-growth environment.
Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and possess own transport.
