COMPANY OVERVIEW
You will be hired under one of the foreign banks in Kuala Lumpur centre. In-charged of corporate clients to assess the creditworthiness of businesses applying for credit. With analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of financial principles for evaluating creditworthiness and managing risk in lending operations effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate financial data to determine the risk associated with extending credit. Review financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to assess the organization’s financial health.
- Analyze various factors to determine the likelihood of the organization defaulting on the credit. Examining the organization's credit history, payment patterns, debt-to-income ratio, and industry trends.
- Using scoring models and algorithms to assign credit scores based on risk profile.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing their findings and recommendations for credit decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing credit assessment and lending practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Studies.
- 3 – 5 years exposure as Credit Analyst in banking sector.
- Exposure in corporate banking.
