The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems across die-casting machines and related equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal production downtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Debug, maintain, and repair die-casting machines, trim presses, robotic systems, environmental protection equipment, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize equipment downtime and ensure stable production.
- Support the development, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of both new and existing production equipment.
- Operate and maintain auxiliary systems including power distribution rooms, wastewater treatment facilities, and compressed air systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 documentation standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Job Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and automation equipment.
- Possession of a valid Electrician Certificate (PW or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, sensors, motors, and pneumatic components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and English-language equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality system requirements.
