Our client is newly established manufacturing company in Malaysia. They are doing high machining plastics. They currently hiring Factory Manager/ Production Manager to support the factory set up. They are looking for experienced leaders to help build the factory operations from the ground up.
Location to work: Sepang, Selangor
Job Responsibilities: -
Oversee daily factory operations including production planning, quality control, safety and equipment maintenance
Lead and manage the production team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
Ensure production output meets company standards in terms quality, cost and delivery timelines
Collaborate with engineering, logistics, procurement and HQ team in China to support new product introduction and process improvements
Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiative (e.g: lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen)
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
Coordinate with Shanghai factory on product transfer, equipment and technical matters
Support recruitment, training and development of the factory staff
Prepare reports for upper management and support strategic planning for factory growth
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering industrial engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in plastic parts machining, welding parts or equipment assembly is a strong advantage
Knowledge in production planning, quality systems (ISO) and safety standards
Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English (Japanese is an added advantage)
Willing to work in Serenia Industrial Park, Sepang
