JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Prepares budget plans for quality activities and plans manpower needed. Plans and orders necessary quality equipment and supplies, ensures timely and sufficient availability of all material needed.
- Prepares specifications for intermediate and final products.
- Ensures that proper IQC and OQC processes are running.
- Manages a data management system assuring highest transparency and online access of key parameters.
- Joint with production and development, decides on the re-work concept in the production process.
- Responsible for supplier quality management, e.g. supplier qualification, and supply agreement.
- Acts as interfaces to customers on quality topics.
- Works with Sales, Production and Supply Chain Management in order to resolve quality problems.
- Supports customer visits/audit, and resolves customer complaints.
- Develops and implements improvement concepts including flow diagrams for quality processes.
- Keeps informed about new technical developments.
- Submits proposals for the improvement of quality procedures and for the need of additional or new equipment.
- Responsible for ISO internal audits.
- Ensures that all quality plans and processes are properly documented and readily available.
- Leads, coaches, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree (and above) in Engineering / Science Degree
- Min. of 10 years of vocational experience in production, maintenance, technical services, quality;
- Min. 5 years as quality manager
- Ideally experience in optical industry or semiconductor industry.
