A rapidly growing MNC manufacturing in Kulim is looking for HR Manager (ER & IR) to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business in HR process including Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Welfare & Benefit.
Main responsibilities of the HR Manager (ER & IR) role
- Developing policies, protocols, Employee Handbook, and procedures that adhere to the Malaysia Employment Act is a priority.
- Overseeing and implementing ethical guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Providing communication and guidance to ensure that all staff are familiar with the company’s protocols, disciplinary procedures, policies, and Employee Handbook
- Managing complaints and providing counseling in collaboration with other stakeholders are key duties.
- Providing advice, directions, and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues and the organization’s overall IR practices in a timely and effective manner is necessary.
- Advising the organization on labor-related regulatory requirements and compliance,
- Monitoring and advising on performance management, Performance Improvement Plan management, and review processes, along with offering coaching and guidance to staff in problem-solving and resolution implementation.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field.
- Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preference is given to individuals with experience as a Senior Executive, Assistant Manager, or Manager specializing in Human Resources
- Strong expertise and experience in Malaysian Labour Law, Industrial Relations/Employment Relations, the Employment Act
