(Japanese Speaker) Senior Accountant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the financial accounting processes and lead all general accounting and specific tax related activities.
• Responsible for implementation of efficient accounting procedures within the organization and other markets.
• Responsible for adherence to laws and external requirements, preparation of statutory reports and other external reports.
• Handling basic day to day accounting and more complex accounting questions
• Lead Book Closing processes and ensure timely reporting
• Identify and lead improvement initiatives and process development in areas of responsibilities.
• Engage team members for unified efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Native level Japanese language competence is mandatory.
• ACCA, University degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
• Around 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance or field
• Comfortable handling the complex finance queries and data.
• Knowledge of finance processes and policies and ability to apply them in the daily work.
• Experience or knowledge of tax system and accounting practices in Japan will be a big advantage.
• Proficient in Ms Excel and other Ms Office applications, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and SharePoint
