A financial shared service company located in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Japanese speaking talent with a good business acumen in financial planning and analysis to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business on developing and refine key business metrics and conduct financial analysis.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and enhance critical business metrics, conducting thorough analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Evaluate viable alternatives and propose appropriate actions for various department/ teams.
- Provide support to leaders in Japanese language, while also extending support to leaders on a global scale.
- Execute special projects aimed at enhancing or creating efficiency within business processes.
- Deliver timely, relevant, and accurate reports and analyses, showcasing divisional performance in comparison to historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results. This aids decision-making towards budget and strategic plan attainment.
- Assist APAC Regional Business leaders, Financial Planning and Analysis teams, and Revenue analysts by serving as the primary point of contact for issues and inquiries.
- Apply effective business analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide insightful advice to business area partners and management, thereby driving business results.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent Japanese communication as the role is required to liaise with their colleagues based in Japan office.
- Must be able to speak and write Japanese language (JLPT N2 or N1 equivalent) as this role requires candidate to deal with clients in Japan.
- Demonstrate a foundational grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory accounting principles.
- Possess prior experience in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business integration, and analytics within a corporate (HQ) setting.
- Showcase robust analytical abilities, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative skills, involving data extraction, cleansing, and validation, as well as proficiency in forecasting and constructing financial models.
