Company: Established Japanese Food Trading Company – Malaysia Market Launch
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
A well-established Japanese food trading company with a long history and strong reputation is launching its Malaysia operations and is seeking a motivated professional to join the founding team.
Job Responsibilities:
・Sales and distribution of Japanese food products, with a strong focus on seafood
・Develop and manage relationships with restaurants and hotels
・Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
・Actively contribute to market development during the Malaysia start-up phase
Requirements:
・Sales experience preferred (industry flexible)
・Prior experience in seafood trading or seafood manufacturing is highly desirable
・Experience working in the food industry is a strong advantage
・Passion for food and interest in building a career in the food business
・Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a start-up environment
Language Requirements:
・English: Mandatory (daily business communication)
・Chinese: Preferred
・Japanese: A plus, but not required
