JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible in drafting and vetting of contracts/ legal documents and be part of the contract negotiation team and attending to legal aspects of business and corporate exercises
- Managing corporate litigation matters, providing legal opinions and act as representative of the company
- Ensuring operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules
- Attend and resolve any legal concerns and issues that may arise from time to time
- Assist in implementing and managing an effective legal compliance program
- Providing sound legal advice and counsel services to management and internal departments in legal related matters and any regulatory counsel related matters
- Keep up to date and understand relevant laws and regulations
- Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or any equivalent certification
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in handling legal and compliance matters
- Familiar with Companies Act and other relevant rules and regulations
- Sound knowledge in law of contracts, commercial law and etc
