Our client is a newly set up Data Centre from overseas investment. It is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru.
MAIN RESPONSILIBITIES
- Oversee and manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations and trade policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and government agencies to ensure smooth and efficient shipment processes.
- Liaison with government department such as SIRIM for import permit.
- Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other service providers
- Monitor changes in import/export laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and recommending adjustments.
- Prepare and submit reports, presentations, and documentation related to import/export activities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations
- Expertise in Malaysia Customs regulations, import/export compliance, and trade documentation.
- Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses own transport.
