Company Overview
A leading organization in the advanced manufacturing industry is seeking a Process Engineer to join its newly established Ceramic Division. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production of ceramic products. The Process Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Quality, and R&D—to drive process improvements, resolve technical challenges, and support new product development.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for ceramic products.
  • Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to streamline production workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues promptly.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure compliance and maintain high product standards.
  • Support R&D and product development teams in scaling up new products from prototype to full production.
  • Document process parameters and create work instructions for new products.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Apply industry best practices to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Collect and analyze process data to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on process performance, including KPIs and production metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Train production staff on new processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all processes adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate process-related hazards.
     

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the ceramics industry.
  • Strong understanding of ceramic materials, processing techniques, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficient in process simulation and data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
