MNC manufacturer of compostable/ biobased resins and bags for export markets is looking for QA Manager to improve film quality by ensuring the appropriate QA and QC system exists for maintaining rigorous QA/QC standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all QA/QC activities in the factory and that the appropriate systems are in place
- Ensure that no product is shipped to the customers which is not within the specification
- Facilitate trouble shooting and solution of problems in cooperation with production as they arise
- Confidently deal with customer queries/ complaints and concessional release of product if required
- Responsible for all technical / product development
- Conduct all tasks with a highly oriented approach and achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, principally in the area of quality and service
- The incumbent should strive to improve business performance, particularly in the area of staff training, and through involvement in other business improvement projects
- Ensure all procedures are conducted in accordance with the Quality/ ISO systems and enforcing QC/QA standards and ISO procedures to be applied
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Chemistry or any Science discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience in QA/QC functions in plastic extrusion and printing processes
- Preferred candidate with ISO 9000 Quality Management System or Seven QC Tools
- Resourceful, self-motivated, customer focused, and able to work as a team
- Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
