Company Overview and Job Overview
A leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, specializing in medical-grade materials, precision molding, and sub-assembly services are looking for an experienced Sales Manager and a Senior Sales Executive to join our team. These roles will focus on driving business development within the medical device manufacturing ecosystem in Penang, leveraging strong industry networks and technical expertise to promote solutions in materials, precision molding, component manufacturing, and sub-assembly services. The ideal candidates will play a key role in acquiring strategic accounts, managing full project cycles, and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for business growth within the medical device manufacturing sector.
  • Acquire and manage strategic accounts, building long-term partnerships.
  • Promote solutions in:
    • Medical-grade materials
    • Precision molding & tool development
    • Component manufacturing
    • Sub-assembly and value-added manufacturing support
  • Collaborate with customer teams across engineering, procurement, QA/RA, and operations.
  • Manage full project cycles: RFQ → Quotation → Validation → Mass Production.
  • Forecast pipelines, prepare sales reports, and achieve revenue and margin targets.
     

Key Requirements:

  • Sales Manager: 8–12 years of experience in sales or key account management within medical device manufacturing.
  • Senior Sales Executive: 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Mandatory: Strong network and familiarity with Penang’s medical device manufacturing cluster.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Medical-grade polymers and materials
    • Injection moulding and cleanroom operations
    • Sub-assembly and regulated manufacturing flows
    • ISO 13485 compliance
  • Proven ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and solution-selling skills.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia and regionally.
     

Added Value

  • Experience onboarding suppliers or managing programs with major OEMs and contract manufacturers.
  • Familiarity with pilot builds and validation phases (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into manufacturable, cost-effective solutions.
