A global leader in medical technology and innovation, dedicated to developing life-saving solutions that improve patient care and support healthcare professionals worldwide, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in ERP systems to define and optimize the architecture of our application suite. This role focuses on ensuring technical excellence, maintaining cutting-edge solutions, and preparing systems for future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the solution architecture and technical administration of ERP and related applications, including installation, configuration, and maintenance (LCM, Grid, Eventhub, etc.).
- Conduct opportunity studies and promote architectural best practices within IT.
- Monitor system performance, background jobs, and server health to prevent bottlenecks and ensure optimal operation.
- Perform administration tasks such as user and client management, backups, and system landscape updates.
- Coordinate with external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish technical standards for new projects and technologies, ensuring alignment with existing architecture.
- Participate in projects as a key member, focusing on best practices and compliance.
- Manage upgrades of ERP business applications, adhering to change management and documentation standards.
Provide support during European time zones several times per week to ensure seamless collaboration with global stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in ERP consultancy; experience as a Solution Architect is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IT applications; familiarity with M3 ERP preferred (training provided if needed).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and globally, with flexibility to support different time zones.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ERP upgrades and lifecycle management.
Knowledge of change management and good documentation practices. - Ability to collaborate across cultures and maintain effective communication in an international environment.
