A dynamic, well established commodities trading company operating within SEA, facilitating the procurement, transportation, and distribution of commodities to meet the needs of regional clients are looking for motivated and detail-oriented talent to join their team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist in maintaining P&L on trades and prepare reports for senior management.
- Participate in negotiations for contracts with supply chain vendors, including transporters, DCP, terminal, freight, and forwarding companies.
- Review and manage sustainability certifications such as ISCC and NIS, ensuring precision in reporting and GHG computations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of contract documentation to ensure compliance with sustainability certifications and maintain accuracy.
- Attend industry conferences to share regulatory updates and relevant information with stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating annual certification audits and contribute to internal training efforts to uphold sustainability standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- An understanding of RSPO principles, with 1-2 years relevant experience in sustainability, and Mass Balances is a plus. Fresh graduates passionate about sustainability are welcomed to apply.
- Understanding of supply chain operations and sustainability principles would be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret data accurately.
- Effective communication skills to negotiate contracts and disseminate information.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sustainability or supply chain management is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
