Our client is an established MNC precision manufacturing company, located in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Location: Gelang Patah, Johor
- Business Nature: Manufacturing MNC
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with LMW, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (Aging report, dead stock report etc) - Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Manage the warehouse budget, schedule expenditures, analyse budget variances and take corrective action
- Completes warehouse operational requirement as per guidelines on Storage of Hazardous Chemicals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in business studies.
- min 5 years experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation and export.
- experience in LMW license.
- experience in warehouse system.
- good communication skill in English.
