Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions based on customer requirements
- Translate customer requirements into design specifications, evaluate feasibility, and provide technical expertise
- Design and implement cost-effective automated equipment
- Provide pre-sales technical support to secure customer orders and contribute to regional business growth
- Participate in sales presentations and conduct demonstrations of prototypes and completed applications
- Coordinate with customers to incorporate user needs and feedback into system layout designs
- Work closely with service engineers on technical troubleshooting, installation planning, and on-site scheduling
- Optimize applications through integration of new technologies and system upgrades
- Perform on-site diagnostic testing and validate new application use cases
- Create technical marketing materials and application concepts to support business development
- Manage product delivery timelines in accordance with project schedules
- Lead the development and maintenance of technical relationships with customers
- Coordinate with R&D engineering, sales, and project management teams
- Create conceptual designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings using 3D CAD and simulation tools
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) required for customer application projects
- Design customer-specific structures and fixtures for system layouts
- Submit Purchase Requisitions (PR) in line with project schedules
- Conduct final on-site inspections to ensure systems operate according to specifications
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with ISO requirements (including all approved management system standards)
- Adhere to company safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies, and guidelines
Requirements
- Background in Mechanical Engineering and/or Robotics
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or DraftSight
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of engineering calculations and material properties
- Broad knowledge of metal fabrication processes
- Knowledge of design ergonomics and safety standards
- Experience or knowledge in the semiconductor industry
- Understanding of cleanroom requirements and specifications
