JOB OVERVIEW
One of our clients is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate plays a key role in managing financial operations within the healthcare organization. This includes overseeing billing, payments, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily finance operations for Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP), including preparation of invoices, credit notes, and reconciliation of collections and payments against aging reports.
Review and submit E-Invoices, Credit Notes, and Self-Billed Invoices via the E-Invoice platform in compliance with IRB requirements.
Process invoices and payments through Gluegent software to ensure proper approval workflows and monitoring.
Ensure timely completion of monthly closing activities for both AR and AP functions.
Reconcile AR and AP balances with monthly Statements of Account to maintain accuracy and completeness.
Verify data accuracy between Attack Board software and actual received invoices.
Prepare intercompany invoices and reconcile intercompany balances on a monthly basis to ensure financial integrity.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations as required.
Support year-end audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Review staff claims monthly to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to payroll processing.
Monitor AR aging reports to ensure timely collections within agreed credit terms.
Schedule and prepare payments to suppliers in accordance with the payment timeline.
Utilize SAP B1 extensively for accounting entries, monthly and annual financial closings.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned, including support for financial reporting activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles; external auditors are encouraged to apply.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or MIA are an added advantage.
- Willing to travel for business trips to the Regional Office in Singapore.
- Proficient in Bahasa Melayu , English, and Mandarin.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with IFRS, Malaysian Taxation, and Companies Act 2016 is preferred.
