Main responsibilities of the Assistant Sales Manager/ Manager
- Serving as the Account Manager for Distributors & Global EMS in Malaysia
- Conducting market surveys to gather Competitor and Market information, and providing feedback to HQ and regional offices to develop appropriate sales strategies
- Negotiating RFQs on a quarterly basis to increase market share with assigned customers
- Developing new customer relationships and exploring opportunities for product diversification, particularly in Malaysia.
- Providing periodic strategic reports to HQ and management
Key requirements
- Diploma or higher education, preferably in the fields of engineering, science, or business
- Possessing a minimum of 4 years of customer-facing experience in the related field/industry
- Being self-motivated and target-oriented in sales
- Demonstrating proficiency in interpersonal skills, including effective collaboration and communication
- Having well-developed facilitation skills to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrating judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Exhibiting time management skills to accomplish short- and long-term assignments
