JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
The successful candidate will lead and develop project opportunities for mostly new construction projects. Collaborate closely with MEP consultants during construction design stage, s/he will cultivate leads to support and influence design decisions. In order to succeed in this role, the candidate should have relevant industry networks and associations to key accounts to effectively promote Client’s offering and value proposition. We are seeking a key account manager who can build long-term relationship with these firms, expand networks and be able to successfully manage progress as the projects move through different project stages.
• Develop and implement key account strategy and sales plans within construction industry, preferably dealing with MEP / BSE consultant firms
• Experience in handling new construction projects (preferably technology-related such as IT, telecom or other electrical or ELV electronics systems such as 2-way radio, wireless telecom systems, CCTV, typical project size between USD 1-3M)
• Solutions and consultative selling experience preferred
• Experience with and undertaking of standalone project or multi-system integration
• Ground-floor opportunity in a sub-regional expansion with proven success in other Asian markets
• Promising fast-track career to management position and more regional exposure for the right candidate

• Degree holder in relevant disciplines, particularly in building service or engineering related disciplines; OR,
diploma / degree holder from other disciplines with relevant work experience – competency and being comfortable dealing with relevant technology offering is more important
• Pre-sales experience with an aptitude for technical details
• 5 years' relevant experience with proven track record of successful business development or sales in the construction industry, with emphasis on working with MEP / BSE design consultants and other M&E sub-contractors
• Strong network and connections within the construction industry, especially with the key players in our target markets
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Independent player that requires little managerial over-sight, hands on attitude, leadership abilities to contribute in a team environment
