COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our multinational company is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing employee compensation and benefits programs. This role requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience in delivering stand-up presentations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Data Analysis: Engage in salary and benefits surveys with vendors and gather market data on compensation-related trends.
  • Industry Analysis: Conduct external industry analysis to ensure compensation remains relevant and competitive.
  • Guidance on Salary Forecasting: Provide guidance to National Operating Companies (NOCs) on forecasting salary increments using reputable and cost-effective HR consultants/vendors.
  • Compensation Packages: Advise on proposing compensation packages, including benefits for senior leaders and expatriates.
  • Reward Programs Implementation: Implement effective reward programs regionally to leverage economies of scale and enhance bargaining power.
  • Salary Framework Development: Assist NOCs in developing a comprehensive salary framework that includes sales incentives, salary structures, and benefits to attract and retain talent.
  • Annual Reviews: Conduct annual reviews on Dow Jones, insurance, and other relevant matters through surveys and market research.
  • Expatriate Affairs Management: Manage all expatriate affairs (non-Japanese) in the APAC region.
  • Workforce Planning and Coordination: Oversee workforce planning and coordinate workshops throughout the region.
    Project Support: Support Supervisors on assigned projects.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR-related positions.
    Independent and analytical mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a bottom-up approach.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts and be detail oriented.
  • Proficiency with digital tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering stand-up presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with mid-level managers.
