Retail Operations Director
A global retailer is looking for Retail Operations Director that responsible in formulating strategies and overseeing their execution to drive retail sales growth in each region throughout Southeast Asia.
Reporting to the CEO, you are tasked with formulating and spearheading the retail strategy in the specified market, attain sustainable and profitable growth while implementing strategies across all store locations, and guarantees that divisional sales, profitability, margin, and operational goals are achieved through the effective execution of a strategic business plan.

- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Retail business across Southeast Asia, aimed at fostering business growth and securing a competitive edge in the market.
- Sustain a collaborative approach and maintain consistent communication both vertically and horizontally to ensure that internal priorities are aligned, and resources are allocated effectively to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Lead and constantly enhance retail store operations to align with market and global objectives, striving for operational excellence.
- Foster and instill a high-performance service culture by establishing explicit expectations and targets, analysing store performance, ensuring accountability among leadership teams, and providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Take an active role in talent management processes through mentoring and creating opportunities for the retail team to unlock their full potential.
- Ensure the effective execution of in-store training and development programs with a focus on continually enhancing the personal capabilities of in-store personnel.
Key Requirements
- At least more than 10 years managing/leading a team.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, proficiency in identifying business opportunities and challenges, a deep understanding of complex business issues, and the capacity to devise effective solutions to enhance outcomes.
- Proven track record in creating and executing successful financial and business plans to attain sales, service, and contribution objectives within sizable retail organizations.
- Possesses robust leadership and coaching abilities, with the capacity to effectively utilize these skills to foster the growth and advancement of both managers and employees within the organization.
- Proficiency in conducting and evaluating research pertaining to consumers, industries, markets, customers, and competitors.
- Extensive experience in establishing a common vision and direction, as well as generating the enthusiasm and excitement necessary to involve a diverse range of stakeholders.
