General Ledger - Italian Speaking/ German Speaking
A distinguished semiconductor company headquartered in Malaysia, is seeking an Italian Speaking/ German Speaking General Ledger. 

 
Main Responsibilities for Italian/ German Speaking General Ledger:
  • As a Senior Financial Accountant, your primary focus will be on accounting and month-end close activities specifically for Italy and German.
  • Conduct month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries.
  • Perform monthly close analytics and variance analysis, along with generating ad hoc reports.
  • Validate and maintain monthly account reconciliations.
  • Stay abreast of internal policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX and internal control standards.
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders and peers.
  • Communicate with business partners and finance analysts.
  • Support stakeholders, including external auditors.
  • Present information to Finance Management.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements:
  • Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly desirable experience with SAP.
  • Preferred experience with Blackline, Ariba, and Concur.
  • Proficiency in data analysis with a results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Preference for experience in shared service environments.
