Main Responsibilities for Italian/ German Speaking General Ledger:
- As a Senior Financial Accountant, your primary focus will be on accounting and month-end close activities specifically for Italy and German.
- Conduct month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries.
- Perform monthly close analytics and variance analysis, along with generating ad hoc reports.
- Validate and maintain monthly account reconciliations.
- Stay abreast of internal policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to SOX and internal control standards.
- Provide training to internal stakeholders and peers.
- Communicate with business partners and finance analysts.
- Support stakeholders, including external auditors.
- Present information to Finance Management.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Highly desirable experience with SAP.
- Preferred experience with Blackline, Ariba, and Concur.
- Proficiency in data analysis with a results-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Preference for experience in shared service environments.
