General Manager
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. This role involves ensuring that the business runs efficiently and effectively, meeting both operational goals and strategic objectives.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Leadership and Management: Leading and managing teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to achieve company goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Resource Allocation: Managing resources, including staff, budgets, and materials, to ensure optimal use and alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and making necessary adjustments.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Ensuring that operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Overseeing customer service and satisfaction, addressing any issues or complaints, and ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in operations and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and HR to ensure cohesive and aligned operations.
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

     

Job Requirements

  • At least Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership role in logistic/ supply chain/ freight management industry, preferably at senior management level
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ability to manage and optimize operational costs
