Job Responsibilities:
A. Operations Management:
  • Manage and enhance operational processes and policies for the Operations Department to meet organizational vision, mission, and financial goals.
  • Establish and achieve operation KPIs aligned with budget figures and business objectives.
  • Develop operations staff through effective communication and positive motivation to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Services functions for efficient sales, financial, and human resource planning.
  • Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes to reduce WIP scrapped and ensure high product quality.
B. Financial & Cost Management:
  • Prepare and justify departmental budget, monitoring expenses to stay within budgeted figures.
  • Manage, control, and analyze operational costs based on Profit and Loss, aligning with cost reduction targets.
  • Ensure proper control and inventory management of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and EOL parts.
C. Resource Management:
  • Identify, utilize, and maintain machinery, equipment, and operations assets effectively.
  • Provide leadership support, supervision, and motivation to achieve high productivity.
  • Foster relationships with vendors and suppliers to acquire new technologies and reduce manufacturing costs.
D. Risk & Succession Management:
  • Identify, analyze, and propose measures to mitigate business risks.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of resources and information to manage business risks effectively.
  • Recruit, develop, and prepare employees for advancement in the organization.
E. Others:
  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments assigned by superiors or management.
Job Requirements:
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin.
  • Exhibits the capability to systematically and logically manage and resolve problems.
  • Possesses the foresight to anticipate implications and consequences of situations, taking appropriate actions and implementing contingency measures.
  • Adept at building robust teams and fostering positive relationships among team members, achieved through understanding and addressing individual needs and concerns of staff.
