HR EXECUTIVE
One of the multinational corporations is looking for HR Executive Talent based in Kuala Lumpur. As an HR Executive specializing in payroll, your role is crucial in ensuring that employees are accurately compensated for their work. Your responsibilities span various areas related to payroll management, compliance, and employee relations.  Your role is multi-faceted, requiring strong attention to detail, compliance expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to support the organization's payroll objectives effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all aspects of payroll, including maintaining the employee database, calculating salaries, bonuses, and allowances, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia's employment laws such as the Malaysia Employment Act and Income Tax Act, as well as other statutory requirements related to payroll management.
  • Review payroll reports meticulously to ensure accuracy before finalizing payments.
  • Use analytical tools to extract insights from remuneration data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Assist in creating financial reports and forecasts related to payroll expenses and labor costs and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate financial and HR reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll processes, time attendance, and expense claims.
  • Maintain precise records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions, either physically or through the company's HR Information System.
  • Administer and coordinate employee benefits, including healthcare, flexible benefits, and gratuity.
  • Address employee queries regarding payroll management and leave administration.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on payroll processes, time attendance, and expense claims.
  • Provide backup support for HR functions during team member absences.
  • Undertake additional HR-related tasks or projects as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields is required.
  • Ideally, candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Strong familiarity with Malaysia's Employment Law, regulations, and compliance standards is necessary.
  • Proficiency in working with numbers, a keen interest in data analysis, and the ability to create visual presentations for insights into payroll management are desired.
  • Candidates must demonstrate high integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are essential.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, with additional knowledge in Excel for data analysis and experience with tools like PowerBI is and added advantage.
