IT Application Owner - Supply Chain & HR
A leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of electrical measurement is looking for a career minded IT Application Owner who willing to travel domestically and internationally to be part of their team.  
As the IT Application Owner for Supply Chain & HR, you'll hold global accountability for ensuring operational excellence within these process areas through our IT business applications. Your pivotal role involves maintaining and enhancing our systems, particularly during our transition to Dynamics 365. Working closely with IT Supply Chain & HR Architects, you'll ensure our strategic projects are underpinned by robust operational practices.

Key Responsibilities for IT Application Owner - Supply Chain & HR:
  • Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day operations of Supply Chain & HR applications to ensure stability and efficiency, including managing external support partner(s) and addressing specific L2 & L3 incidents, requests, and problems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and system performance enhancement, driving implementation of related changes.
  • Escalation and Crisis Management: Handle escalations until resolution, while keeping business partners informed, and participate in crisis management for critical incidents.
  • Build to Run Acceptance Criteria: Contribute to defining and enforcing acceptance criteria for new deliverables, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Knowledge Building: Develop a deep understanding of application architecture and operational requirements, documenting insights and upskilling L1 resources.
  • Governance and Reporting: Execute operational governance frameworks and provide comprehensive reporting on ticket management and SLA compliance to stakeholders.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain system security and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • License Management: Manage software licenses to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage application performance to meet business needs, collaborating with the IT Infrastructure team to address performance issues.
  • Upgrade & Release Management: Oversee application and software upgrades, coordinating closely with the build team to align with strategic projects, and participate in change and release management.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in information technology or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Dynamics 365 operations management, Supply Chain processes, and familiarity with EDI data flows, with a willingness to acquire expertise in managing HR processes.
  • Multinational experience.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong aptitude for continuous improvement and system enhancements.
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Additional Experience and Skills Considered a Plus:
  • Expertise in other MS Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL.
  • Proficiency in MS Power Platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
