Korean speaking Interpreter

COMPANY OVERVIEW
A multinational manufacturing company located in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a skilled and experience candidate with high proficiency in business level Korean language. The successful candidate will play a key role in interpreting Korean-English during meeting and presentation, document translation as well as any ad hoc task that required interpretation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Offer a wide range of translation and transcription services in Korean, English, and Bahasa Malaysia for the Business Group (Proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous).
• Accompany the Director on business trips in Malaysia to assist with communication with local branch managers and associates during meetings and conferences.
• Ensure translations and transcripts are delivered accurately and promptly.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum proficiency level of TOPIK 4 or 5 in Korean required.
• Contract duration of 6 months with potential for renewal or conversion to permanent employment.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in interpretation.
• Business insight and acumen are critical for organizational understanding.
• Proficiency in planning and data analysis is important.
