A globally recognised architectural, engineering and infrastructure construction company ranked among the top 30 construction companies in the world are looking for young and dynamic M&E Engineers to be based in Kuala Lumpur with the opportunity to be relocated overseas to handle specialized design and build trademark projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all necessary duties from tendering / bidding works including the preliminary/conceptual M&E design stage until project construction completion .
- Prepare tender documents on mechanical system detailed design and prepare specifications, bill of quantities and schedule that comply with local code of practice, policies, standard, statutory regulation, and authority submissions.
- Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members
- Review all M&E Shop Drawing from design team and submit for approval
- During construction stage, be assigned to site to carry out site supervision as necessary to ensure works are installed in accordance with contract documentation, good engineering practice and within the cost budgeted and projected timeline.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 1-2 years experiences working under subcontractor/main contractor, with strong technical back ground and people management skills.
- Experience in BIM/REVIT for M&E and other related design software will be an added advantage
- Involvement in a Data center/ Cleanroom/Semiconductor project experience will be advantageous.
- Based in Kuala Lumpur but willing to travel overseas in the future for construction site visits.
