JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To oversee daily operations and lead production staffs on the food production floor.
- To ensure productions schedules are well planned and manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently in compliance with food safety standards (i.e. FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP).
- To implement process improvement, workflow efficiency and cost saving strategies.
- To monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
- To plan relevant training programs for production staff pertaining to food handling, production safety, technical skills etc.
- To conduct performance evaluations for subordinates and provide feedback for improvement.
- To monitor raw material usage and stock levels and maintain production records.
- To collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Science or equivalent.
- Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Production Supervisor role in Food Manufacturing industry, knowledge in HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 implementation would be added advantage.
- Strong in leadership, communication and problem-solving skills to lead production team.
