Company Overview
A leading company in the advanced manufacturing industry is seeking a Project Engineer to support its growing operations. This role is responsible for managing New Product Introductions (NPI), overseeing project execution, coordinating order fulfillment, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The Project Engineer will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, driving timely and high-quality project outcomes.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
  • Communicate customer requirements effectively across functional teams and align customer priorities with factory operations.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding schedule changes to maintain on-time delivery.
  • Lead all phases of engineering projects: planning, execution, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to resolve project-related issues.
  • Analyze complex problems, develop actionable solutions, and build consensus across teams.
  • Report project progress and status updates to senior management and customers.
     

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in metal fabrication, with strong knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards relevant to metal fabrication.
