A well‑known Japanese manufacturer of vision inspection systems used in factory automation is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the growth of our vision inspection solutions business. This role involves close collaboration with customers, partners, and our Tokyo headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all sales-related activities for vision inspection systems.
Visit factories and machine manufacturers to propose and present our in‑house vision inspection solutions.
Respond to customer inquiries, including delivery schedule coordination and quotation preparation.
Work closely with team members in our Tokyo headquarters, communicating in either Japanese or English.
Travel within Malaysia, with occasional trips to Singapore and Indonesia.
Depending on individual aptitude and career goals, a rotation to a Technical Engineer role may be offered.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Ability to conduct daily business conversations in English and Malay.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Experience in sales of factory automation–related equipment.
