A leading multinational company that is a distributor of electronic components is expanding worldwide, and they are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team.
Job Descriptions:
Be part of the team of a prominent Japanese semiconductor distributor expanding its share worldwide:
• Responsible as a Sales PIC for Japanese customers in Southeast Asia and handle daily enquiries on
quotation, delivery, quality, environmental, legal, financial, technical and other related services.
• Communicate with internal parties and customers to optimize customer satisfaction while
upholding company interests and policies.
• Apply strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills to manage a broad
range of transactions and resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct face-to-face or online meeting with customers or internal parties to maintain good
relationship and to know customers’ production trend to budget sales amount or to discuss daily
topics.
• Proactively work to clear long term inventory and update its status in various internal tools.
• Engage in the Company’s expansion into new business sectors that is beyond semiconductor distribution.
Qualification & Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) or willingness to upskill if current level is not sufficient.
• Working experiences of minimum 2-3 years in semiconductor or electronics industry; or strong Japanese educational background; or/and working experience in Japan
• Basic knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering will be beneficial
