Job Responsibilities
Local Responsibilities (Singapore & Malaysia)
Accurately input financial data into the accounting system in a timely manner.
Verify and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank transactions.
Prepare submissions for direct and indirect taxes, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), GST, WHT, stamp duty, and other statutory requirements.
Generate financial data and assist in preparing draft financial reports.
Provide support in resolving financial data inquiries.
Manage inventory accounting and perform regular reconciliations.
Handle AR, AP, month-end closing, and prepare a full set of management accounts.
Prepare monthly cash flow reports.
Offer guidance and support to team members when required.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including e‑Invoicing / InvoiceNow.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks and reporting as assigned by the superior.
Regional Responsibilities
Support the enhancement of accounting systems, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency and business performance.
Provide training and guidance to employees across the region to ensure proper understanding and adoption of financial and accounting procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with accounting systems, particularly Xero.
Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
Capable of managing a full set of management accounts independently.
Solid understanding of tax concepts such as CIT, GST, WHT, and stamp duty.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of MPERS and IFRS standards.
Professional accounting certifications are an added advantage.
