Senior IT Security Operation Engineer

• Conduct security reviews and offer risk-based security expertise to our product and engineering teams.
• Define system security requirements and collaborate with engineering teams on both internal and customer-facing security initiatives, ensuring the consideration of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Assess our security posture, identify potential vulnerabilities, and work closely with other teams to bolster operational security through security assessments.
• Evaluate third-party tools to ensure compliance with our security standards for the handling and processing of data they manage.
• Generate comprehensive reports containing assessment findings, outcomes, and recommendations for enhancing system security.
• Stay updated on industry best practices for data maintenance relevant to your role.
• Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for safeguarding information assets.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Cyber Security.
• Professional Security Certification preferred (e.g., CISM / CISSP).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency with network security, networking technologies, system security, and security monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with compliance programs and frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC2, NIST, ISO).
• Thorough understanding of current security best practices and associated trade-offs.
