Manufacturer of paints and coatings is looking for Senior Product Manager with working experience in B2B product management experiences in paints and coatings industry. You will be responsible for implementing a marketing and sales strategy for one or more of the company’s products to meet established sales or market share targets.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Develop segment and product strategies to drive sales and profit performance by developing new products and managing programs that contribute to sales volume & revenues and costs saving initiatives
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, customer behaviors, and competitors' activities to identify business opportunities by conducting market research, customer visits and sources from other channels
- Generate new product ideas, identify product/service features that need to be delivered to meet customer needs, and lead new products development and localization processes to commercialize the products
- Simplify and rationalize product portfolio, and manage product life cycle to reach an effective product offering that work for both customer needs and internal operation efficiency
- Work with internal and external marketing resources to design sales campaigns/events and sales collaterals to promote the products
- Co-work with R&D on new advanced technologies to keep the leading position, translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into product CTQs
- Support application team on the assessment of customer's application needs and provide product selection consultancy to ensure the delivery of product values
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or Engineering discipline
- 8 years of experience in B2B product management in paints and coatings industry or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in industrial wood coatings segment is an added advantage
- Experience in market research and working with R&D team
