A global trading multinational company is hiring a Sales Executive for their Metal Division. The company is practicing a hybrid working arrangement and their office location is accessible by LRT/MRT/monorail.
Job Description:
Ensure product knowledge is up to date such as latest pricings and product specifications.
Develop, manage, and grow the trade client base.
Communicate with prospective and current customers, overseas counterparts, and local suppliers.
Negotiate and close sales contracts.
Proactive monitoring of industry trends, import and export regulations, and competitors’ activities.
Ensure that the relevant local licensing regulations are met.
Provide support to overseas team members.
Other Requirements:
Possesses 3 – 5 years of experience in the relevant industry.
Experienced in international trade and import/export regulations. Preferably possessing knowledge of hedging.
Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Possess good communication skills and commitment towards the jobs assigned.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Willing to work and travel to overseas countries as and when necessary.
Languages required: English, Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients & suppliers).
