Senior Sourcing Specialist
A leading innovator in semiconductor technologies located in Bayan Lepas, Penang is looking for sourcing specialist with vast experience in handling PCBA procurement.
Job Responsibilities
- Cost responsible for PCBA supply chain topics. Primarily with our EMS, but also with distributors, component manufacturers and other suppliers
- RFI, RFQ and price negotiations with EMS, distributors, component manufacturers and other suppliers
- Daily coordination with internal and external partners for all matters related to cost, price, and invoice issues.
- Sourcing for new suppliers to improve supply chain resilience, variability, and cost.
- Supplier relationship management and supplier development for EMS, distributors, component manufacturers as well as other suppliers
- Collaboration with development teams for second source development to improve supply chain resilience, variability, and cost.
- Analysis of supply chain cost to create a better understanding of cost drivers.
- Support of planning, NPI and other teams in other PCBA supply chain tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or similar field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with PCBA procurement/sourcing/cost management
- Must have a good understanding of PCBA and EMS supply chains as well as the industry with the ability to identify and develop strategic needs.
- Strong negotiator with experience in driving cost-down, initiating RFI, RFQ and other sourcing activities.
