Its manufacturing plant in Penang is equipped with diverse and specialized machines, facilities and measurement equipment for precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting, surface finishing and high-level assembly including cleanroom operations.
Job Responsibilities
Lead supplier development strategy, designing the metrics for the function and supplier performance.
Carry out supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).
Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues
Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues
Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
Job Requirements
Min Diploma or Degree in relevant Engineering fields
Min 7 years of experience in Manufacturing industry and leadership role
Strong in sourcing for sheet metal and CNC
Strong interpersonal skills in working effectively with internal and external liaisons
