A manufacturing company in Penang Science Park is looking for Supply Chain Director to manage and optimize the organization supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment
Job Responsibilities
- Implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, including sustainability initiatives and risk management plan
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain optimal pricing and terms
- Utilize data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance, forecast inventory needs, and improve processes
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring they meet performance standards and organizational goals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Masters in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Operations related
- At least 15 years of working experience in supply chain operations, preferably with semiconductor or electronics industry
- Possess leadership/ management role in the organization
- Strong organizational, analytical and negotiation skills along with the ability to develop and implement strategic plan
- Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with counterparts in China
