A leading industrial, building and infrastructure construction company ranked among the top 30 construction companies in the world is looking for experienced Project Manager to be based in Kuala Lumpur with the opportunity to be relocated overseas to handle specialized design and build projects of industrial facilities, commercial/residential and infrastructure projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and be involved in the initial tendering stage until the end phase of construction execution.
- Lead the organization in carrying out tender activities as a Tender Project Manager
- Accountable for overall project management in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met.
- To support with the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- To ensure effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
- Responsible for the project planning, including producing the detailed project plan and the implementation of the master programme, manpower, materials & plant schedules.
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the construction project cycle.
- Overall responsibility for site administration, procurement, quality assurance and safety control.
- Lead regular project related meetings/site inspections (e.g. Project Review, Safety Walk, Site assessment, etc.) with project team members / clients / consultants / sub-contractors.
- Comply with client / consultant and applicable legal and other requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, schedule, value engineering and cost reduction efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of construction project management experience leading multiple projects.
Experience managing Data Center or Cleanroom construction project will be advantageous
Proficient with construction scheduling software such as Ms Office, Ms Project, or P6 Primavera.
3+ years’ leadership experience working with Multinational project partners especially during tendering stage up to project completion.
Leadership experience in Tendering Work.
Central Region of Peninsular Malaysia. (During Tender Period)
Construction Site Office include overseas. (Construction Period)
