Company Information

A client from financial services industry is currently looking for an Account Executive role to be based in Bangsar, Selangor. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Financial Recording and Reporting: responsible for recording and maintaining the company's financial data, including accurate bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements), and other financial reports.
  • Financial analysis and budgeting: analyze and interpret financial data, provide financial indicators and reports to assist management in making decisions. Participate in the development and implementation of financial budgets, monitor and analyze the variance between actual performance and budget.
  • Tax Management: Ensure the company complies with relevant tax laws and regulations, prepare and submit tax returns and reports. Assist in managing tax risks and optimizing tax planning.
  • Cost Management: Track and control the company's costs, including developing cost budgets, analyzing cost structure and cost effectiveness, and providing cost control recommendations.
  • Internal control and audit support: assist in establishing and implementing effective internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy of the company's financial activities. Collaborate with internal and external auditors in the conduct of audits.
  • Wallet, bank and account management: Manage the company's bank accounts, including fund transfers, bank reconciliations, processing of payments and receipts, and ensuring effective cash management.
  • Accounting Policy and Guidelines Compliance: Ensure compliance with the company's accounting policies and guidelines, accounting and reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Coordination with other departments: work closely with other departments (e.g. Purchasing, Sales and Human Resources) to provide financial data and support and assist in resolving finance related issues.


Key Requirements:

  • Possess Degree in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in crypto or financial services industry.
  • Ability to effectively priorities and execute tasks in a fast past and rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel PowerPoint skills, and accounting software
  • Willing to traveling (outstation required).
