Cost Control Manager

• Developing, monitoring, and maintaining budgets for various departments within the organization. This involves collaborating with department heads or project managers to understand their financial needs and creating realistic budget plans.
• Forecasting future expenses based on historical data and market trends is also crucial.
• Analyzing expenses across different departments or projects to identify areas of inefficiency. Reviewing financial reports, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or productivity.
• Monitoring actual expenses against budgeted amounts and providing regular reports to management to track financial performance. Highlighting any significant deviations from the budget and offering recommendations for corrective action when necessary.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Continuously evaluating vendor performance and exploring alternative suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Providing accurate cost estimates to assist in decision-making and resource allocation.

• 7 years in related field.
• Exposure in manufacturing industry/ exposure as consultant in cost controlling would be added advantage.
• Travelling to APAC regions will be required.
• Willing to be based at Klang.
