COMPANY OVERVIEW
Leading provider of end to end data centre infrastructure solutions is seeking a ELV Technical Engineer to join the team. This role involves troubleshoot, resolve issues related to electrical systems in the data centre, Install, test, and commission electrical systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all electrical equipment operates safely, reliably, and without interruption.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical issues and breakdowns, including providing on‑call and emergency support when required.
- Assist with generator testing, power outages, load testing, and electrical switching to ensure uninterrupted data centre operations.
- Handle installation and commissioning of systems such as UPS, power distribution units, monitoring systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
- Update service reports, maintenance documentation, and system records to support compliance and operational standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant professional certification.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field. Experience involved in preventive, predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and manning.
- Familiar with IT systems such as servers, networks, storage, databases, or cloud technologies.
- Able to propose and implement effective solutions to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Demonstrates a positive, proactive, and results‑driven attitude, with the ability to think critically, collaborate effectively as a team player, and work independently with minimal supervision.
