Our client is a well-known and established MNC manufacturing in Johor Bahru.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Location: Gelang Patah, Johor
- MNC Manufacturing
- To manage and drive the energy saving sustainability projects, to ensure compliance with Malaysia Energy Regulation.
- To promote energy efficiency and energy conservation and assist in managing energy cost by looking into air compressor/ aircon usage or key significant consumption.
- To be responsible for the overall building facilities of the plants.
- To review the whole operation, carrying out audits and assessments, identifying and resolving problems and ensuring necessary changes are implemented.
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Manages and reviews service contracts e.g. Pest Control, Cleaner agreement renewal etc.
- Responsible for sanitation aspects of plant, warehouse, building & surrounding grounds including pest control program for plant.
- Assist in Customer Audits and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
- Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility and environmental management.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia regulations, and assist with energy management
- Negotiate environmental service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues
- Write environmental reports, assuming lead responsibility in the company
- Set organisational sustainability targets, developing plans to meet those targets and oversee their delivery.
- To handle all correspondence and administration of license application, ensure compliance and approval from relevant authorities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Diploma in engineering
- 5 years experience in facilities and maintenance.
- knowledge of OSHA environmental regulations.
- Experience in waste water treatment plant, chemicals, clean room and warehouse facilities maintenance and safety.
