Finance Executive

An award winning, public listed company in the manufacturing industry is keen to acquire talent as a Finance Executive based in Rawang, Selangor. In this role, you will work to support the organization in costing, management accounting and financial analysis among others.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Analyze financial performance across operations, products, and projects to enhance profitability.

2. Create financial projections and evaluate investments to guide decision-making.

3. Manage cost drivers, pinpoint opportunities for efficiency, and support business unit leaders in achieving financial goals.

4. Develop and review product costs for competitive pricing.

5. Ensure timely submission of management accounts and financial reports for consolidation.

6. Prepare accounting schedules, reconcile financial data, and analyze statements.

7. Aid in establishing robust accounting systems and internal controls.

8. Maintain effective cost and inventory management systems in accordance with financial standards including:

• Assessing and overseeing the management of obsolete stock and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with operations on inventory-related issues.
• Organize the annual inventory audit.

9. Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly profit forecasting.

10. Undertake additional assignments and tasks as delegated by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in relevant roles with exposure to cost and management accounting.
• Familiarity with financial modelling and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and investment evaluation.
• Exposure to product costing, pricing strategies, or financial reporting is beneficial.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work in Rawang.
