Finance Manager
A rapidly growing company in Batu Kawan is looking for a finance manager to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to oversee financial activities within organization.
Main responsibilities of the Finance Manager role
Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights to support management decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to optimize working capital and support business operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments.
- Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the accounting function.
Key requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
